Mamma Mia!

Hi there,

Two weeks ago I went to the cinema but I didn´t have any idea about what to see! "Mamma Mia" was available that night and the title caught my attention, because of the "Abba" song. "Abba" was a well-known Swedish group back in the 80's. It was a very pleasant film, lots of music in it, but what really fascinated me was that all the songs were actually sung by the actors.. Can you imagine Pierce Brosnan singing? I couldn't!

Feel free to give your opinion if you've seen it, I'd apreciate it.

I went to see this film at the begining of September and I have to say I loved it! It's such a light and funny musical that it will make you want to sing all the songs along! x)

When I first heard of Mamma Mia I though to myself "Oh God, another fluffy romantic comedy wasting Meryl Streep's and Colin Firth's talent!" But when my whole family decided they wanted to go and watch it, I didn't want to act like a wet blanket and agreed to go with them. I have to admit I enjoyed it a lot! Obviously, it's not a masterpiece and it will never win the critics, still I think it serves it purpose very well: it entertains you, makes you laugh and sing and dance along the most famous Abba songs which (even if you're not an Abba fan), you'll recognize immediately!
If you're not too picky, like musicals and want to have some fun, I definetly recommend this ultimate feel-good film of the season!

I watched a bit of it and I honestly thought it was appalling. The plot was really uninteresting and a bit of a cliché and I'd rather go without ABBA's music...

Mamma Mia is awsome. Even though some of the actors such as Pierce Brosnan and the other "fathers" don't sing so weel they "interpretate a singer instead of singing" as Brosnan explained in the interviews and that makes us thing that they actually sing something. That is some film. Really worthy to be seen
