"Eurovision" is song contest that involve every year, since three decade ago, quite-all the EU nations.
This year (2009) won the Norway with his song "Fairytale" from the violinist Alexander Ribak

Yes...I said "quite-all"...and now I'm going to explain why.
Actually Italy do not partecipate to this interracial enjoing event.
I'm still asking myself the reason of this...political stuff?!...cultural diversity?!...arrogance?!...
It is so strange...maybe we think to be more artistic or more cultural than other nations!?...

Just one example and then I'll stop speakin' (and I'll start listening your point of view about it):
Britain it's not into EURO-area but they partecipate to EUROVISION (a little joke for my teach. Michael).

In my opinion, Italy didn't participate in this year event because they are the only country with some common sense.
If you pay attention, it's hard to find a music that's actually good... Most of the songs have no meaning and are no good... I mean listen to this "song" from Lithuania:
they got the sixth place with this song... Is this the sixth best song in Europe? I don't think so.
In my opinion, the Eurovision has no validity as a singing contest. Only as a "singing" one.
Kudos to Italy; the only real winners of this year contest.
